OUR STORY
Connect the Darts didn’t begin as a plan to build an entire darts platform. It started with a much simpler idea: I wanted a scoring app that worked the way I believed a darts app should work.
“How can this make dart night better?”
As a player, I had used other scoring apps and could see what they did well—but I also kept noticing what was missing. Certain features felt harder than they needed to be. Some apps didn’t fit the way people actually play in bars, leagues, and local tournaments. I wanted scoring that was easier to see, quicker to use, and designed around real players standing at a real dartboard.
So I decided to create my own.
I wasn’t a software developer. I was simply a dart player with an idea, a growing list of improvements, and the determination to figure it out. Every new version came from playing, testing, listening, and asking one question:
How can this make dart night better?
What began as a personal scoring app quickly became something much bigger.
Scoring led to voice controls, match histories, player statistics, and tools designed for crowded bars and competitive play. Then came Luck of the Draw tournaments—because running a tournament shouldn’t require stacks of paper, constant trips back to a laptop, or confusion over which match goes to which board.
From there, the idea expanded again.
Single-elimination brackets. Adjustable match formats. Multiple boards. Tournament hosting. Team rosters. Schedules. Standings. Divisions. Full league management.
The project evolved because the needs of the darts community kept showing me where it could go next.
Connect the Darts is still built with the same mindset it started with: listen to the players, understand the problem, and create something that genuinely improves the game.
This isn’t a product created in a boardroom by people guessing what dart players want. It was built from firsthand experience—during league nights, tournament nights, bar matches, demonstrations, mistakes, late-night testing, and conversations with the people who actually play.
What started as one player wanting a better scoring app has grown into a platform designed to connect every part of the game—from the first dart thrown to the final league standings.
And it’s only the beginning.
Spend less time at the tablet and more time at the oche.
Give dart night a professional bracket, display, and flow.
Know what is complete, what needs action, and what comes next.
